Please note that there is currently no direct road between Marsa Alam and Aswan via Edfu. The Edfu–Aswan road is closed under the current regulations of the Egyptian tourism authorities. Therefore, all tourist transfers follow the official route via Safaga. The journey covers approximately 220 km from Marsa Alam to Safaga and around 400 km from Safaga to Aswan, making the total travel time approximately 10–12 hours depending on road, traffic, and security conditions.
